CPHY is a new MIPI physical interface for Camera (CSI-2) and Display (DSI) interfaces.
The MIPI C-PHY specification was developed to reduce the interface signaling rate to enable a wide range of high-performance and cost-optimized applications, such as very low-cost, low-resolution image sensors; sensors offering up to 60 megapixels; and even 4K display panels. CPHY v1.0 was recently approved and is compatible with DSI v1.2 and CSI-2 v1.3.
Join Arasan on Oct 22 for a review of the new technology. Prakash Kamath, Chief Technology Officer at Arasan Chip Systems will present an introduction to CPHY – how it works, how it compares to DPHY. The webinar will include a review Arasan’s support for this new interface and the associated camera and imaging controllers.
